So, I have decided that at this point in my life it is too much effort on top of working as a photographer and going to school, to also maintain my own web site. So I am going to be using dA and myspace in conjunction to show my work and keep in touch with clients.

That being said, the portfolio beta is rather neat- but i cant see any application to it that couldnt be accomplished by something other than creating a folder in your gallery.

unless the idea of the portfolio is to show selected work and keep people out of the bulk of your art... does any one else see any applications for this that I am missing?
